Knox County Fish & GameKnox County Fish and Game Association is a non-profit organization located at Beaver Lodge on the shores of beautiful Alford Lake in Hope, Maine. New Members must be sponsored by a member of The Board of Directors. A work incentive program will help established members reduce their annual dues and get needed projects done for the club.

We meet at 6:30 on the third Thursday of every month except December at Beaver Lodge from April to October and at the Rockland VFW from November to March. Supper is provided at the meetings for a nominal fee and an interesting program is provided to the membership. All members are encouraged to attend the monthly meetings and get involved in club projects to help keep Maine an enjoyable place for generations of sportsmen and women.

Association Purpose:

  • to promote conservation in Maine
  • to provide a lodge and common meeting place for hunters, fishermen, and conservationists
  • to represent sportsmen in legislative matters and community affairs
  • to complete community projects
  • to provide youth programs
  • to represent sportsmen in Maine Fish and Wildlife Department

Knox County Fish and Game provides Scholarships to area teens to go to Branch Pond Conservation Camp every summer. They study conservation with other teens across the state.
